Our systems are intended to work seamlessly. We think of them as ordinary and boring, if notice them at all, until they fail and instantly disrupt our daily lives.

When infrastructure fatigues, bends and breaks, it opens a space of raw uncertainty. In that failure, I see not only clash between human intention and natural force, but also a will to resist, a refusal of its physical body to remain within the system and conform to someone else’s ambition.
