This work is about the human trace on the planet and how we, through our actions, of digging, moving, and modifying resources and materials, change the landscapes around us. The brutality of these changes is of different levels, but at the core is the impulse to act and create.

In this work, I used crushed charcoal and a play on words in the title to highlight that we are inextricably linked with other inhabitants of our planet, be it stones, trees, or other humans who lived before us and will come to this world in the future.
