When meeting a person, I like to learn basic facts about them. Similarly, when examining an object, I seek to understand these details, but it cannot speak. The means of communication available are what we perceive non-verbally through our senses.

Colour, shape, size, texture, weight, taste and smell. All of these need to be translated into the visible realm. The five senses are condensed into one. This transformation raises the question of how much is lost in interpretation and is it even possible to describe an object by the sum of its qualities?
